The basis for the sudden insistence of PM Zdravko Krivokapic and his ministers to resolve the crisis through the election, is the desire to influence the election process from the Government and to have power until the formation of another government after the election, which would last at least half a year, says Daliborka Uljarevic, the executive director of the Center for Civic Education, for Pobjeda.
Commenting on the moves of Krivokapic and ministers close to him after the no-confidence motion against the government, Uljarevic says that they seem to have learned quickly about the benefits they would have if they ran the elections from the position of the ruling power.
