A wonderful scene of a brown bear enjoying the forest after waking from a long hibernation has been filmed in the Biogradska Gora mountain by surveillance cameras.
This is one two brown bears left in the Biogradska Gora national park. The brown bear (Ursus Arctos) is one of the threatened and protected species.
The cameras, which recorded bears, were set up within the project Observation of Bears implemented jointly by Parkovi Dinarida (a network of protected areas of the Dinarides) and Adria WWF (World Wildlife Fund).
As animals that live alone rather than in groups, bears need a large habitat, to move, feed, reproduce freely and to find suitable places for hibernation.
