The Requiem by Giuseppe Verdi was performed on Wednesday night in the Montenegrin National Theatre. Residents of Milan in Italy listened to that monumental piece of art back in 1874.
The Requiem is one of the most beautiful and demanding vocal-instrumental pieces for symphony orchestra, chorus and soloists.
As many as 200 of them performed it on the scene in Podgorica, thus spectacularly closing the A Tempo music festival.
Soloists were led by Serbian opera champion Snezana Savicic Sekulic.
