All religious communities in Montenegro must have equal rights, said Ms Marija Vučinović, during the meeting with the U.S. Ambassador, Mr Judy Rising Reinke.
As Ms Vučinović’s Office said, Ms Vučinović and Ms Reinke discussed current social and political topics, achieved results and further tasks in relation to Montenegro’s EU path. They also touched on the Law on Freedom of Religion and current protests.
“In a democratic Montenegro, every citizen or a group of citizens has legitimate tight to express dissatisfaction in a form of protest, as long as they do not endanger rights and freedoms of other citizens. Messages those protests send are not the way to go”, Ms Vučinović pointed out.
She pointed at the importance of the USA and the support it constantly provides.
Ms Vučinović acquainted American ambassador with the activities of the Cabinet without portofolio.
Ms Reinke stressed that the Cabinet and the Government of Montenegro will always have a reliable partner in the USA.
