In an interview to TV Niksic, Vujanovic said that Nikolic was one of the signatories to a joint declaration of countries participating in the Brdo-Brioni Process. The declaration was signed in Zagreb in November and it supports the Western Balkans state aspirants for NATO membership.
“I cannot explain to myself that he signed the declaration in Zagreb because there were the US Vice President Joe Biden and the President of the European Council, Donald Tusk, and then after a short time he changed his attitude. But if there is a question whether he really thinks so – he absolutely does,” Vujanovic said.
Nikolic told the Russian media outlet Sputnik that Montenegro was “an example that a state should not be a toy and that leaders should not treat the state in that way”.
According to Nikolic, Serbia should not be compared with Montenegro, because Montenegro deliberately reverses its independence in decision-making and recommends itself as a country that will accept everything it is told in order to join NATO.
Vujanovic reminded on Nikolic’s statement told to the head of the Russian diplomacy when he compared Russia with a mother.
“I want to say that my mother is Montenegro in terms of homeland and country and that no country outside of these borders cannot be a complement and a substitute”, said Vujanovic.
