Constitutional court declared unconstitutional the amendment of the Decree that introduced the fee for highway and national sport teams.
This decision of the court was made based on the article 142 provision 3 of the Constitution which states that material payments of the citizens can be introduced only by law, which government didn’t do in this case.
Decree on the payment of this kind could have been introduced within the Law for energetics or the Law for sports, but this is not the case.
“The decision of the unconstitutionality now goes through further procedure in Constitutional court and it cannot be precisely said when it will be official”, it was said to Dnevne novine.
„The government is ready to apply the decision of the court as soon as it’s published in the Public registry, in accordance with the law, regardless of the calculation period for fuel prices”, it was said to Pobjeda fom the Government.
Prices of fuel are adjusted by the formula every 15 days, and they start being applied on Monday midnight.
