The Social Democratic Party (SDP) has forwarded the Interpellation to the Montenegrin Parliament, requesting the dismissal of Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Vesna Bratic, due to the scandalous appointments of acting headteachers of educational institutions. The Interpellation was also forwarded to the ruling parties – the URA Civic Movement and the Democratic Montenegro, as well as the opposition.
This will be an opportunity to hear publicly and unequivocally what the URA and the Democrats think about this, as well as whether they will vote for Minister Bratic to be removed after all. The true views of these two parties in power will come to light, where it is not enough to, as the URA did, “just distance themselves from, as in the case of teacher Rada Visnjic, the scandalous appointments in leading positions in educational institutions. URA will have to act publicly and say what it thinks about the purge and revanchism carried out also by Minister Bratic. It will be no less important for the public to finally hear the position of the Democrats led by Aleksa Becic after these scandalous events in the education system. So far, they have been silent on the subject.
