DPS: They see perspective
President of youth council of DPS Nikola Pesic said that the interest for DPS membership by the youth is constantly growing, because youth sees good perspective for ther future in their party.
According to him, the register shows that DPS has 15.000 members younger than 30 years of age.
NOVA: Stagnation
Petar Draskovic from New Serbian democracy thinks that the youth is less and less interested in politics which is why their party is stagnating in terms of number of youth members.
As for the other parties, Democrats are satisfied by the number and activism of their youth and they believe that their youth is the most active. In Bosniacs party say that the number of youth members is increasing byt the number of active ones needs to increase more. PzP is proud of its members and in Movement for changes (PzP) they said that more than 40 percent of their members is young peple. Forum of Positive Montenegro said that the trend of increase in youth members is evident in all cities. Socialdemocrats are more than happy by the interest of youth considering that they are a young political party.
Youth is usually bringing new energy into politics and a part of the youth is still resistant to political activism, but the overall trend is that the number of youth in politics is increasing. All parties believe that youth is crucial for their success because if young people don’t believe in the party then there must be something seriously wrong with its values.
