The north of Montenegro has long been neglected, despite being home to much of the country’s natural resources. Given this, we are excited to see the interest of investors who can bring new momentum to the region’s development.
This is how Mayor of Zabljak Rados Zugic responded to Bankar.me when asked about Mohamed Alabbar’s upcoming arrival in the area and whether such an investment could help unlock the municipality’s potential.
“The Municipality of Zabljak is certainly pleased to welcome investors who are ready to commit their capital to sustainable projects—projects rooted in the principles of sustainable development that do not harm the environment or our specially protected areas,” Zugic said.
He further emphasised that the future of Zabljak lies in the development of elite tourism, and the municipality is fully prepared to create the right conditions to make this vision a reality.
