There are 77 millionaires in Montenegro according to the latest data of the Central Bank of Montenegro (CBCG), reports Pobjeda daily. The CBCG cannot reveal their names as it’s a business secret, that is, the Law on Banks, Article 84, prohibits specifying their names.
The wealthiest person in Montenegro has €50.3 million in domestic bank accounts.
“The largest deposit of a physical person amounts to €50.281 million and belongs to a Montenegro resident,” explained the CBCG.
In the end of December 2018, they added, 77 physical persons have deposits over a million euro. It’s evident that the number of millionaires in ME has been increasing as in 2017 there were 64 of them and in 2016 – 54.
